Hi, welcome to The Mite Shop! I’m Lisa Mite, the creator, designer, and proud mama behind every print and page you see here. I am a mom to two toddler boys named Jahlil and Josiah. I am a proud boy mom and have really embraced it. As a current stay-at-home mom homeschooling my two busy toddler boys, life is a beautiful mix of chaos, learning, and endless creativity.

The Mite Shop was born out of this unique season of life. I realized how much I loved creating beautiful, functional prints and pages for any occasion—whether it’s a practical tool for daily life, a fun learning activity, or a special keepsake. My goal is to create a space where you can find exactly what you need (and want!) to bring a little extra joy, organization, and inspiration into your home, especially for the little ones in your life.
The Mite Shop was born out of this unique season of life. I realized how much I loved creating beautiful, functional prints and pages for any occasion—whether it’s a practical tool for daily life, a fun learning activity, or a special keepsake. My goal is to create a space where you can find exactly what you need (and want!) to bring a little extra joy, organization, and inspiration into your home, especially for the little ones in your life.
Before diving into toddler life, I spent years working in higher education! I lived and worked on college campuses, managing residential buildings and helping young adults find their way in the world. Education has always been the baseline of my journey which is quite fascinating since I did not like school growing up. I earned my bachelors degree from the University of St. Thomas in Communications and a minor in Education (early education route). I then went on to obtain my masters degree from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota in Human Development with a focus in higher education.
