A name mat is an interactive, portable, simple, reusable, and hands-on name mat designed to help toddlers and preschoolers recognize, spell, and write their own name. The name mat is customizable (2 to 7 letters in length only) and will display a child’s first name along with an animal icon that coordinates with the first letter of their first name. The name mat is divided into distinct zones for different types of practice, reading, spelling, building, tracing, and writing. A little one will practice handwriting using a dry-erase marker. It is an educational tool made to provide structured, repeated practice for specific skills.

How It Works:
Purchase PDF, download, and then print sheets (print on 8.5" x 11" sheet paper, one-sided, cardstock is preferred (it is sturdier), but regular printing paper work too).
Laminate printed sheets (dry erase thermal laminating sheets is preferred for page one, but regular thermal laminating sheets work too, just make sure to erase right away).
Cut the letters out on page two and then add Velcro dots where needed.
Grab a dry-erase marker and enjoy!
